The Bitterroot Mountains provide an idyllic backdrop to Sven Lindauer's masterpiece, Montana Matters.  You can hear the rush of the creek and the songs of the mountain bluebirds, and smell the fresh scent of fir and larchon the hills as you lose yourself in a spectacular scene within nature that Montanans know is no understatement.

Internationally renowned wildlife painter and sculptor Sven Lindauer's masterpiece Montana Matters was created specifically for the Montana Matters campaign.
Sven has graciously donated his time, talent, expertise, and passion for wildlife and wildlife habitat in order to help ensure that Montana Matters to present and future generations.

This original work of art took over four months to complete and has an estimated value of over $25,000. It will be available for auction bids for one year from the launch of the Montana Matters Campaign, April 2009.
