Napa Montana Matters fundraiser

It was rainy night in Napa on Saturday, November 5, but that did not dampen the 100 attendees of the third annual Montana Matters fundraising concert.  Everyone enjoyed a hearty meal, spirits and good conservation.  Shane Clouse, Bob Wire and the Salty Dawgs performed to an enthusiastic crowd of Montana Matters supporters.  Ron Clausen (MWF Board) handled the MCing and auctioneering masterfully.  The evening focused on efforts to restore bison to their native habitat in Montana with brief presentations from Jeff Hagener (MWF), Nick Roberts (NWF) and Jay Abbe (American Prairie Foundation).  Many folks commented how they can now see how these collaborative conservation efforts can be productive.

A hearty thanks to all the attendees for their support of the Montana Matters Campaign; to the folks at Walsh Vineyards Management for hosting this great event; and to Ron Clausen and the staff of Clausen Law Group for handling ticket sales, auction sales, and merchandise sales.
